One Sweet Story

Capitol Street Sweets was born from a simple idea: three people, two sweet businesses, and one shared love of bringing joy to others.

What started as a friendship between people passionate about sweets grew into an exciting collaboration between Matt Collins of Frios Gourmet Popsicles and Karen Miller and Donna Alexander of Sweet Bliss Candy Company. Together, we dreamed of creating a place where people could slow down, indulge in something delicious, and make a few sweet memories along the way.

Our shop is a reflection of the three of us—our creativity, our entrepreneurial spirit, and our belief that there's always room for a little more sweetness. We're proud to call the historic Heritage Building in downtown Jackson home and excited to share our passion with our community.
